Question 1

What does a cleaning cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the size of your home, its current condition, and the service you want. A recurring standard clean costs less per visit than a one-time deep clean of the same house, because there is less buildup to work through. Send us photos of your space and we will send back a specific number, not a range, usually within 24 hours on business days.

Question 2

How does a photo-based quote work?

Accepted Answer

You fill out a short form with your address, property details, and the service you are after. You then text or email us photos of every area you want cleaned. Your price comes from both: the size, bedrooms, bathrooms, and service you choose set the baseline, and the photos show us the condition and buildup that decide how long the work actually takes. Photos are required, so we cannot quote without them. We review everything and send you a written quote within 24 hours during business days. There is no in-person visit and no obligation to book.

Question 3

Why do you need photos instead of visiting?

Accepted Answer

Square footage alone does not tell us how long a home will take. A photo shows us the actual condition, the flooring, the fixtures, and the areas that need extra attention. It lets us quote accurately without asking you to take an hour off work to walk a stranger through your house, and it means we can turn a quote around the same day in most cases.

Question 4

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We arrive with everything needed for your clean, including vacuums, cloths, and cleaning products. If you would prefer we use a specific product on a particular surface, leave it out and tell us in advance and we will use it.

Question 5

Do I need to be home while you clean?

Accepted Answer

No. Most of our clients are at work while we are there. You can let us in yourself, leave a key, or share a lockbox or door code. Whatever access method you choose, we confirm it with you in writing before the first visit so there is no confusion on the day.

Question 6

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tivvy Cleaning is fully insured, and we are locally owned and operated in Madison, Wisconsin. You are protected every time we are in your home.

Question 7

What if I have pets?

Accepted Answer

Pets are welcome to stay home. Just let us know what to expect when you request your quote, including whether any animal should stay in a particular room while we work. Homes with shedding pets usually need a little more time, which we account for in the quote rather than adding later.

Question 8

Can I cancel or reschedule a clean?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Give us as much notice as you reasonably can and there is no charge. Life happens, and we would rather move your visit than have you feel stuck with a time that no longer works.
